Century Skate Shop – Terms of Service Agreement

Please read the following terms of service agreement carefully. By accessing or using our services, you hereby agree to be bound by these terms. It is the responsibility of you, the customer to read the terms and conditions before proceeding to purchase items from this web store, if you do not expressly agree to all of the terms and conditions, then please do not use our services. This terms of service agreement is effective as of 01 January 2018.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

The following Terms of Service is a legally binding agreement that shall government the relationship with our users and others which may interact or interface with Century Skate Shop.

CANCELLATION OF PURCHASE

You, the customer, has the right to cancel any purchase you have made from this seller at any time before the purchase is actually delivered to the common carrier (in most cases that carrier is the United State Postal Service (USPS)) in compliance with the following terms:

a. After PayPal payment is received and before the purchase has been packaged and prepared for shipment the seller shall retain $1.00 (USD) to offset fees and administrative expenses associated with the transaction. Refund of your full purchase price including any shipping costs less the $1.00 retainer will be refunded via your PayPal account.

b. After PayPal payment is received and AFTER the purchase has been packaged and prepared for shipment the seller shall retain $3.00 (USD) to offset fees, supplies and administrative expenses associated with the transaction. Refund of your full purchase price including any shipping costs less the $3.00 retainer will be processed to your PayPal account.

c. Cancellation requests received after the purchase has been delivered to the common carrier will be denied.

RETURNS

30 Day Return Policy – Unused Products Only

Returns are only accepted within 30 days of the date of purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To return your product, please contact us at skateboards@centuryskate.com. To process your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. You will be responsible for return shipping costs. If the product is received by us in unused and undamaged condition and in its original packaging, we will refund your purchase.  Please contact us prior to returning any item to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).  Returns received without an RMA will require extra processing time and any refund will be delayed.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Exchanges (Defective/Damaged Products Only)

45 Day Exchange Policy – Defective Products Only

If you believe you have a defective product, please contact us at skateboards@centuryskate.com.

Defective products may only be exchanged within 45 days of purchase. In order to process your exchange, we will need your order number, description of your setup (including photos if available), and any other information about your use of the product that may help us understand the potential defect.

In the event that a product is determined to be defective due to a manufacturer error or defective materials, we will repair or exchange the product as needed. If Century Skate Shop determines that repair or replacement of a defective product is not practical, we will provide a refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your repaired/replacement product to reach you may vary.

Damaged in Shipment

Be sure to inspect your product once you receive it. Any damage from shipping must be reported to Century Skate Shop within 14 days of receipt of the product.

If you receive your product and it has been damaged during shipment, please email us at skateboards@centuryskate.com right away. Include a description of the damages, and include pictures if possible. This information is extremely helpful to us in making sure that our products are packaged and shipped properly. We will arrange for the damaged products to be replaced.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 working of days.
