Shorty’s skateboard hardware, 8 phillips head bolts and 8 self-locking nuts.

Shorty’s bolts have smaller heads for less stress on your board and less weight.  Because the top half of the bolts aren’t  threaded making the bolts even stronger.  Shorty’s are the original 1″ bolts, use them with no riser pads or really small riser pads.  Add the thickness of your riser pad to determine the best hardware for your deck.  That is, if you’re riding with a 1/4 inch riser you can use 1 1/4 inch hardware.
